I’ve been using this gorgeous sleeping bag for my 11 month old for the last week and absolutely love it. Not only is it sooo cute and soft but he sleeps so well in it. When he uses other big thick sleeping bags on the market he doesn’t sleep as well because he can’t freely move in them. This he can move around and it doesn’t wake him up and keeps him nice and warm
Quality of garment is unquestionable, it is so soft and warm. Sadly, it is not easy to use. The v neck means that the garment doesn't have the structural integrity to perform like a true swaddle - baby can easily wriggle arms up through neck hole. Secondly, a side zip means you have to place garment over baby's head to get them into the bag. This is not great if you're putting your bub down into bed asleep without already having put the sleeping bag on. Ideally, the bag should have a high, round neckline for safest sleep, and a zip up the middle to allow bub to be placed in it when already asleep with minimal sleep disruption. I wish I had just bought the pyjamas or a swaddle blanket.
Hello Sarah, thank you for your feedback on our knitted sleeping bag. We are glad to hear you appreciate the soft and warm quality of the garment. Just to help you understand the product better, we have designed the sleeping bag with a v-neck design to specifically allow babies to wriggle their hands to the neck hole so that they can access their mouth to help with self-soothing. Based on research and our work with baby sleep trainers, this method of allowing babies to access their mouths with their bare hands can be a very effective way for babies to learn to self-soothe and this in turn helps with independent sleep- this was our aim in designing the neckline in this unique way. In terms of the functionality of the side zip and accessibility for putting the garment on and off - this is great feedback and something we will keep in mind for the design going forward. We appreciate all comments and feedback. If there's anything else you would like us to consider or clarify, please don't hesitate to reach out:)
Love the merino sleeping bag as it gives me peace and mind that Bub isn’t too cold or too hot. Soft material, not itchy at all. We use it with a merino wool gown underneath on cold nights so that his arms doesn’t get cold 🙌 Ordered with express shipping and got it really quick.
I bought this product because I would worry about having blankets over my daughter during the night time. I wasn’t sleeping well because I was sacred that they blankets would end up cover her face during the night. The baby sleeping bag is great! It keeps bub warm through out the night even when the temperature dips in the early morning. The only issue for us is that it is a bit big for my daughter but I’ve solved that by tying off the bottom with a hair tie. This stops it from riding up. Will be getting a second one at some point! Thanks to Tu for her advice on what to get.
Loving this set. It’s so soft and comfy and the quality has been amazing.
